News: Mentoring Training Opportunity for Graduate Students

April 17, 2017 - 11:30am

The UCLA Center for Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL) is announcing the UCLA Entering Mentoring Training (EMT) Program.

This program seeks to develop a mentoring ethos by providing leadership, mentorship and diversity sensitivity training to graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. If you are mentoring an undergraduate this summer or plan to be in the fall, please consider this well-vetted training course.

In addition, the UCLA Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL), provides professional development and training for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. Although this course if not for credit, those who complete the seminar course will receive a certificate of completion as part of UCLA CIRTL engagement.

The next offering will be this Summer, June 29 - August 31, 2017 on Thursdays, 9:00 - 10:30 am.  The syllabus is attached.
