The Asian Pacific Islander Capitol Association (APICA) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization comprised of legislative staffers, lobbyists and advocates, as well as other API professionals in the Capitol community in Sacramento.

As part of APICA's community and youth development efforts, APICA hosts a 10-week summer internship at the State Capitol in Sacramento from June 21, 2017 to August 18, 2017. The internship is for current college students who are interested in public policy and public service.

The program provides participants with a $1,500 stipend, an orientation and introduction to state government, and a substantive and meaningful work experience in a legislative office in either the State Assembly or State Senate.
